Boarding and Grooming for Dogs and Cats in Waynesville
Whether you’re heading out of town or your pup could use a little polish, Maple Tree Veterinary Hospital offers comfortable boarding and professional grooming through our Dog Camp facility. Our team focuses on thoughtful, attentive care so pets can settle in, stay comfortable, and enjoy plenty of individual attention while they’re with us.
A Comfortable Stay Away From Home
Leaving a pet behind can be tough, so we’ve designed our boarding options around comfort, safety, and each guest’s individual needs.
Dogs can relax in spacious indoor/outdoor overnight cabins or in our indoor cottage area, which includes accommodations for dogs of different sizes. Elevated beds and blankets help create a comfortable place to rest between activities. Additional cuddle sessions and individual playtime with our Camp Counselors are also available.
Dogs who have completed their Dog Camp interview may be able to add camp play to their stay. Dogs who don’t participate in group play are still welcome to board with us.
Boarding for Cats
Our feline guests stay in Tree Top Cat Condos on the second floor, away from the activity and noise of Dog Camp. Each condo provides separate areas for eating, sleeping, and litterbox needs. When appropriate, we can expand accommodations for cats from the same family staying together.
Professional Grooming for Dogs
A good grooming appointment is about more than appearances. Regular bathing, coat care, nail maintenance, and other grooming services can help dogs stay clean and comfortable.
Maple Tree offers three customizable dog grooming levels: Bath, Silhouette, and Premium. Our groomers spend time with dogs in the grooming suite before and after their service to make the experience as comfortable and low-stress as possible.
Grooming Tiers
Current grooming price ranges are:
- Bath: $22-$56
- Silhouette: $35-$78

Additional Grooming Services
Additional services can be added to customize your dog’s grooming visit or help them head home feeling extra fresh after boarding or Day Camp:
- The Furminator: A de-shedding treatment for dogs that shed heavily.
- Teeth brushing: Helps you keep up with your dog’s routine dental care.
- Medicated bath: A prescription soak for skin issues when needed.
- Deodorizing: Extra odor control, including after those pesky skunk encounters.
- Exit bath or grooming: Can be arranged after an overnight boarding or Day Camp stay.
Starting Puppies Off Right
Introducing puppies to grooming early can help them become more comfortable with handling, bathing, brushing, and time on the grooming table. Positive early experiences can make grooming easier throughout their lives.
